Our Stanley Cup odds and AI predictions today feature another four-game docket, with each series featured on Sunday at 2-1.

All four teams trailing their respective series before Saturday's games prevailed, with the Ottawa Senators staving off elimination thanks to an overtime winner in the third successive game the Battle of Ontario required an extra frame.

Meanwhile, Gabriel Landeskog scored his first goal in three years as the Colorado Avalanche had their way with the Dallas Stars at home.  What drama are we in store for today?

Home-ice advantage taking center stage in Round 1

Home teams are dominating proceedings in the first round, winning 18 of 26 games thus far. The one significant anomaly is the Florida Panthers vs. Tampa Bay Lightning series, in which the visitor won all three games.

Excluding the Battle of the Sunshine State, the home team is 18-5. The Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, and Vegas Golden Knights each won one road game with both series going into a pivotal Game 5 deadlocked at two games apiece.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are the only other team that has won a contest in enemy environments thus far, while the Stanley Cup odds favorite Carolina Hurricanes will look to pick up their first road victory on Sunday in New Jersey.

In our Stanley Cup betting guide, we analyzed whether home ice in the first round is a discernible advantage.

πŸ’ NHL playoff predictions & best bets for today Sunday, April 27

Here are our best NHL predictions today for the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs, including our expert picks and full-game previews for every matchup. Odds courtesy of BetMGM; subject to change.

🚨 Jets vs. Blues player props, odds, expert picks

πŸ“ Puck drop: 1 p.m. ET | πŸ“Ί TV: TBS, Sportsnet
πŸ“Š Odds: Jets (-135) | Blues (+115) | O/U 5.5

πŸ€– Jets vs. Blues Game 4 AI prediction

🎯 Score prediction: Blues 4, Jets 2

Here's why ChatGPT is picking the Blues to win Game 4:

"The Blues come into Game 4 with a huge confidence boost after their dominant 7–2 win in Game 3. Pavel Buchnevich looks unstoppable right now, and Cam Fowler's breakout performance from the blue line gives St. Louis a major weapon Winnipeg hasn’t adjusted to yet.

Connor Hellebuyck, who was solid in Games 1 and 2, showed some real cracks in Game 3 β€” and the Blues will likely try to rattle him early again. Meanwhile, Jordan Binnington seems to have settled in after a shaky start to the series, and playing at home gives him an extra edge.

Winnipeg will fight hard (especially with Kyle Connor’s clutch scoring ability), but unless Hellebuyck bounces back dramatically, the momentum feels like it’s firmly swinging toward St. Louis."

🚨 Hurricanes vs. Devils player props, odds & expert picks

πŸ“ Puck drop: 3:30 p.m. ET | πŸ“Ί TV: TBS, Sportsnet
πŸ“Š Odds: Hurricanes -180 | Devils +150 | O/U 5.5

πŸ€– Hurricanes vs. Devils Game 4 AI prediction

🎯 Score prediction: Hurricanes 3, Devils 1

Here's why ChatGPT is picking the Hurricanes to win Game 4:

"The Hurricanes have been the better, more consistent team over the first three games, even in their Game 3 loss. Carolina controlled large stretches of that double-overtime game and only lost because of an outstanding goaltending performance by Jacob Markstrom and a sudden-death bounce.

The Devils finally showed some resilience and urgency in Game 3, but Carolina's structure, forecheck, and scoring depth have been better across the board. Logan Stankoven has emerged as a big-time performer, and Frederik Andersen is giving them solid, mistake-free goaltending."

🚨 Capitals vs. Canadiens player props, odds & expert picks

πŸ“ Puck drop: 6:30 p.m. ET | πŸ“Ί TV: TBS, Sportsnet
πŸ“Š Odds: Capitals (-118) | Canadiens (-102) | O/U 6

πŸ‘‰ Check out our full Capitals vs. Canadiens player props for expert analysis, betting picks, and our favorite prop bets.

πŸ€– Capitals vs. Canadiens Game 4 AI prediction

🎯 Score prediction: Canadiens 5, Capitals 3

Here's why ChatGPT is picking the Canadiens to win Game 4:

"Momentum is swinging hard toward Montreal after that huge 6–3 win in Game 3. Cole Caufield and Alex Newhook are heating up at the right time, and with both starting goaltenders (Logan Thompson and Sam Montembeault) dealing with injuries, this game likely becomes a wide-open, high-scoring affair.

Montreal’s young speedsters (Caufield, Nick Suzuki, Newhook) thrive in fast, scramble-type games, while Washington’s heavier, older style (led by Alex Ovechkin) may not adapt as well if this turns into a track meet."

🚨 Kings vs. Oilers player props, odds & expert picks

πŸ“ Puck drop: 9:30 p.m. ET | πŸ“Ί TV: Sportsnet, TBS
πŸ“Š Odds: Kings (+115)| Oilers (-135) | O/U 6.5

πŸ‘‰ Check out our full Kings vs. Oilers player props for expert analysis, betting picks, and our favorite prop bets.

πŸ€– Kings vs. Oilers Game 4 AI prediction

🎯 Score prediction: Kings 4, Oilers 3 (OT)

Here's why ChatGPT is picking the Kings to win Game 4:

"The Kings have demonstrated resilience throughout the series, bouncing back after conceding and capitalizing on their depth. Adrian Kempe and Anze Kopitar have been consistent offensive contributors, while Darcy Kuemper usually provides stability in goal.

The Oilers, led by Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, possess explosive offensive capabilities. However, their goaltending has been inconsistent, with Stuart Skinner and Calvin Pickard both facing challenges.

Given the high stakes and the Kings' ability to adapt, I anticipate a tightly contested game that extends into overtime, with Los Angeles edging out Edmonton to take a commanding 3–1 series lead."
