Stanley Cup Odds & Favorites 2025: NHL Final Futures Odds

And just like that, the defending champion Florida Panthers are once again the betting favorites by the latest Stanley Cup odds following their controversial Game 4 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Panthers pulled off a 4-2 home win in Game 4 to take a 3-1 first-round series lead. They're one victory away from advancing to a second-round series against the winner of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Ottawa Senators. But Monday's win may not come without supplementary discipline for defenseman Aaron Ekblad, who had just returned from a 20-game suspension during the regular season.

The Carolina Hurricanes (+550), Dallas Stars (+800), and Toronto Maple Leafs (+800) round out the Stanley Cup betting favorites. Carolina and Toronto could advance to Round 2 with victories tonight.

🏆 Stanley Cup odds favorites 2025

Panthers Stanley Cup odds: +515

Florida scored three unanswered goals in the third period - after Ekblad's hit on Lightning forward Brandon Hagel, with the first of those goals coming from Ekblad himself. Game 5 of this series will take place Wednesday at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla.

Bettors will need to wait for news on Ekblad's status as a potential suspension would shift the odds for Game 5 - and the series - closer toward Tampa Bay.

Hurricanes Stanley Cup odds: +550

The Hurricanes' Stanley Cup odds remained stagnant during an off day on Monday but the Panthers' victory pushed them ahead. Carolina has the chance to be the first team to advance to Round 2 - the Maple Leafs fail - and that should see them move back to the top of the oddsboard.

However, Carolina would stand to play the Eastern Conference's top-seeded Washington Capitals in Round 2, should Washington finish off the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday. The Capitals should be favorites in that series, and that would likely lengthen the Hurricanes' odds once again.

🍁 Maple Leafs Stanley Cup odds

Best Stanley Cup odds: +800 via Caesars | Implied probability: 11.11%

The Maple Leafs squandered their chance to sweep the Ottawa Senators and to be the first team to advance to Round 2. They lost 4-3 in overtime in Ottawa on Saturday, and return home on Tuesday for their second try at advancing. Their 7 p.m. ET start time tonight still gives them the chance to be the first team to get to Round 2.

Toronto outshot Ottawa 34-21 on Saturday but Linus Ullmark played his best game of the series for the Senators. Anthony Stolarz (four goals on 21 shots) played his worst game for the Maple Leafs.

📋 How to read Stanley Cup odds

Stanley Cup odds reflect the probability of each NHL team winning the championship and are typically presented in American odds format (+XXX). Lower odds signify a higher probability, while higher odds indicate a lower probability.

For example, a $100 bet at +500 odds would win you $500, plus your original $100 stake, totaling $600.

A team with +750 odds to win the Stanley Cup is given an 11.76% implied probability of doing so with a $100 winning bet returning a $750 profit, plus your $100 stake ($850 total).

A team with +1500 odds would have higher or longer odds, and a lower implied probability of 6.25%, but a win on a $100 bet would return a profit of $1,500 if it hits.
